Hand Hygiene New Zealand

The Hand Hygiene New Zealand (HHNZ) programme is a national quality improvement and patient safety programme that seeks to reduce healthcare associated infections by improving the hand hygiene practice of health care workers in New Zealand hospitals. HHNZ is one component of the Health Quality & Safety Commission’s (the Commission) Infection Prevention and Control Portfolio and is delivered by Auckland District Health Board on behalf of the Commission.
