First, Do No Harm is a regional campaign to minimise preventable harm to patients during clinical care. Creating awareness of the campaign is key to achieving this.
Patient safety initiatives that have been formally approved by any one of the Northern Region’s four district health boards, or sponsor organisations National Maori PHO Coalition, Alliance Health+ and Greater Auckland Integrated Health Network, may use the First, Do No Harm logo to promote their activity.
Permission from First, Do No Harm is required for use of the logo by any other party.
Use of the logo means that the initiative has been recognised within the Northern Region as having a focus on improving patient safety. It does not mean the initiative has been officially approved or endorsed by First, Do No Harm.
